undefinedD3.5: FIRE Roadmap Report I - Part II

The second version of the FIRE Roadmap Report extends the original overview of the available FIRE facilities by giving the information on newly launched Call 7 FIRE projects: CONFINE, EXPERIMEDIA and OpenLab. It indicates, similarly as in the FIRE Roadmap Report - Part I, the conditions of usage and timelines for the availability of the FIRE experimental facilities.

undefinedD2.1: 1st FIRE Portfolio Update

The 1st FIRE Portfolio Update is intended for anyone who is interested in the FIRE initiative, the current topics being researched and the status of the testing facilities that are available for use by FIRE STREPs and beyond. It describes the current FIRE landscape of projects, the experiments that have been - and are being - performed on the facilities and also common topics being studied in the various Working Groups comprising representatives of the IPs within the Architecture Board. It supersedes the original "FIRE Portfolio Analysis" document that was produced by the FIREworks project in 2010.

undefinedD4.1: Report on External Relations

This deliverable comprises a status of FIRE external relations, as well as a summary of the activities completed as part of Work Package 4: “External Relations” of the FIRE STATION Support Action, including the main associated achievements, during the 1st year of the FIRE STATION project (June 2010 – May 2011).

undefinedD3.4: Common roadmap of FIRE test facilities – First version

Future Internet Research and Experimental facilities have open and versatile offering to the network researchers. This FIRE roadmap‟s first report provides an outlook at this existing and in the short-term available services of the mentioned experimental facilities. For the moment FIRE benefits from the four already finished projects: FEDERICA, OneLab2, PII and WISEBED. The running projects providing and building facilities are: BonFIRE, CREW, OFELIA, SmartSantander and TEFIS. Finally, there are three new projects starting in the autumn 2011: Confine, EXPERIMEDIA and OpenLab. The testing offering to the date ranges from virtual switches to cloud services.

This first report provides a uniform description of the FIRE facilities including a short description of the current operational offering and use conditions. This report‟s objective is to give the potential experimenter an idea about the experimenting possibilities before contacting the facility directly. The new projects‟ details will be added in the next reports of the deliverable. Request for federated use of FIRE facilities could be directed either to the involved facilities or to the FIRE office/FIRE Architecture Board for an analysis of the feasibility of proposed experiments.

undefinedD3.3: Draft Terms of Reference for the External Experts Advisory Group

This report provides information on the Terms of Reference for the External Experts who will be invited by the FIRE STATION project. It comprises the background, the suggestion to the Architecture Board to modify the Terms of Reference from the original concept, the decisions as well as the Terms of Reference themselves. In the Annexes, the general conditions of the FIRE STATION invited experts are described in further details.

undefinedD3.1: Draft contractual agreement with the running FIRE IPs to participate in the FIRE Architecture Board

undefinedD3.2: Charter of the FIRE Architecture Board

This deliverable combines two deliverables related to the establishment of the FIRE Architecture Board. These are D3.1: “Draft contractual agreement with the running FIRE IPs to participate in the FIRE Architecture Board” and D3.2: “Charter of the FIRE Architecture Board”. The Charter describes the agreed roles, activities and participation conditions of the members of the FIRE Architecture Board.
The draft contractual agreement (leading to the Charter of the FIRE Architecture Board) evolved through a series of meetings and discussions, culminating in the ratification of the Charter in the Architecture Board meeting on 27 September in Brussels. The public minutes of that meeting are included in the Annex 2.
